iCloud controls & book sharing · Version 0.4.0
iCloud synchronization can now be controlled in Settings. Individual books can be shared privately and read-only with expressly selected people, including their text and photos.
QR receiver pairing · Version 0.5.0
iPad and Apple TV receivers display a QR code. Memoriae scans it with the camera, verifies the technical receiver identifier locally, and sends the selected memory over an encrypted connection to the correct device. Both receivers reach version 0.2.0.

The most recently received memory is reliably restored locally on iPad and Apple TV. The update also fixes artwork layering and adds golden stars to the Legacy receiver.

Where does Memoriae store my memories?
Books, text, and photos remain available locally and, when sync is enabled, synchronize through your private iCloud database. Memoriae requires no separate account and uses no developer-operated server.
Can I disable iCloud?
Yes. The setting takes full effect after the next app launch. Your local memories remain available; changes then stop synchronizing and books cannot be shared. Content already stored in iCloud is not deleted by this setting.
How can I organize my memories?
You can create and manage multiple books. Within the selected book, use search or browse your memories in timeline, calendar, and mosaic views.
How do I share a whole book?
When iCloud sync is enabled, you can use Apple’s private CloudKit sharing interface to send a selected book to expressly selected people. The share is read-only and includes the book title and its memories with text and optional photos.
How does nearby sharing work?
Scan the QR code on a compatible iPad or Apple TV receiver and choose the memory. The QR code contains only a technical receiver identifier; the memory is then transferred through an encrypted local connection rather than developer-operated servers.
What remains stored on a receiver?
The iPad or Apple TV receiver keeps the most recently transferred memory locally so it can display it again after restarting. The next memory replaces it; until a dedicated delete control is available, fully removing it requires deleting the app data or receiver app.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete memories and non-default books in the app, and those changes synchronize through iCloud. Deleting a book also removes its memories. Removing the app only deletes the local copy; iCloud content may return after reinstalling.
