This website is provided through Cloudflare. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, California 94107, USA. When the site is requested, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data, particularly the IP address, requested page, time of access, and information about the device and browser used.

This processing provides the website securely, reliably, and quickly and is based on the legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and additionally uses Standard Contractual Clauses. More information is available in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

3. No cookies or analytics

dewitt-it.me itself does not set cookies or use analytics, tracking, or advertising services. The website contains no input form and does not store an app idea in your browser or on a de Witt IT server.

4. Contact and app ideas by email

When you use an email link, the email application configured on your device opens. Your email address, name, message content including any app idea you voluntarily describe, sending time, and technically necessary header and delivery information may be processed.

This processing is used to answer your message, assess an idea, document further communication, and—if both sides wish—to prepare a possible collaboration. Where your message aims at an agreement, processing is necessary for pre-contractual steps under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. General enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) based on the legitimate interest in orderly communication and handling enquiries.

Please do not include special categories of personal data, trade secrets, or protected third-party material in an initial message. Submitting an idea does not create a confidentiality agreement.

5. Optional dedication

A named mention or personal dedication in a later app is included only after separate, express consent. Its scope and presentation are agreed in advance. Data protection consent may be withdrawn for the future; versions already published or lawfully created backups may not always be capable of complete retroactive removal.

6. Recipients and transfers

The email providers used by you and de Witt IT, and where applicable their processors, are technically involved in transporting, forwarding, and storing email. Your message is not disclosed for advertising and your data is not sold. Any further disclosure occurs only where required for a collaboration you request, where you consent, or where a legal obligation applies.

7. Retention

Messages are retained for as long as necessary to process, answer, and maintain a reasonable record of the enquiry. If a collaboration begins, data may be retained longer to perform it and to comply with legal retention obligations. Data that is no longer needed is deleted unless legal duties or legitimate grounds such as the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims require further retention.

Subject to the legal requirements, you have rights including information, access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection.
